How Can I Book a Car?
To rent the ideal car from Garenta’s diverse fleet that best suits your needs, you can make a reservation directly without requiring membership. However, completing the membership process through the Garenta website or mobile app, visiting one of our offices across Türkiye, or contacting our Booking Center will provide a faster and more seamless rental experience.
What is the Minimum Duration for a Rental Period?
The minimum rental period is 24 hours. For rentals that are less than one day (24 hours), a daily rental fee applies.
Will I Receive the Same Make and Model Car I Booked?
The car images displayed on our website and mobile application serve as representative examples of the respective car classes. We cannot guarantee the availability of the specific make, model, or color of the car requested in the booking. Based on the real-time availability of cars at the time of delivery, it’s possible that a different car from the same class with similar features may be provided.
Are There Alternative Payment Methods Besides Credit Cards?
We exclusively accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards as payment methods, and virtual cards and debit cards are not accepted.
I Don’t Use a Credit Card / My Card Doesn’t Have Sufficient Limit: Can I Split the Payment Across Multiple Cards or Use Someone Else’s Credit Card for Payment?
The vehicle rental fee, along with any additional product and service charges and the security deposit, is collected in advance from the renter's own credit card(s) at the beginning of the rental period. Payments can be made using multiple credit cards belonging to the same person; however, third-party credit cards cannot be used. Any additional charges or refunds during the rental period will also be processed through the same card(s).
Can I Pay Later?
During the booking process, you have the option to select “Pay Later” as your payment method, allowing you to complete the payment at our offices when you pick up your car. If preferred, you can secure your booking at discounted rates by utilizing our “Pay Now” option.
What are the Terms & Conditions for Cancellation/Refund?
In prepaid reservations, if the reservation is canceled at least 1 hour before the vehicle pickup time, the full rental fee will be refunded. If the cancellation is made less than 1 hour before the rental start time, a penalty fee of 30% of the total amount will be charged.
If I Return The Car Earlier Than Planned, Will I Get a Refund for The Unused Days?
In case of early return, a penalty fee of 15% of the unused rental days will be charged, and the remaining amount will be refunded.
When Will I Receive My Invoice?
Your invoice will be sent to the email address you provided at the beginning of the rental within 7 business days after your rental ends.
Can I Be Sure That I Will Rent The Exact Car I Reserved?
Reservations are made based on vehicle groups, and a specific model is not guaranteed. If a car from your reserved group is unavailable at the specified time, a higher-segment car will be provided at the same price.
Can I Add an Additional Driver After Renting The Car?
An additional driver can be added to the rental agreement. However, if you are the main driver, you must visit the office with both the car and the additional driver. A damage inspection will be conducted at the office, and both the main and additional drivers will need to sign the rental agreement again.
What Do I Need When Picking Up The Car?
You need to present your driver’s license, an identity card with your Turkish ID number (or a passport if you are coming from abroad), and a credit card in your name. Customers with foreign driver’s licenses must ensure that the entry stamp in their passport is not older than 6 months.
Can I Rent More Than One Car At The Same Time?
You can only rent one car at a time. However, you can make a separate reservation for a different date while another rental is ongoing.
Do Your Rental Cars Have A Mileage Limit?
For daily rentals, there is a 500 km usage limit per day. If the daily limit exceeds the monthly limit, the total mileage used cannot exceed the monthly limit for that vehicle group, regardless of the number of rental days. Additional mileage packages can be purchased from the "Extra Services" section. Any excess mileage at the time of return will be charged based on the current mileage overage rates. Can I Return The Car To A Different Office?
Yes, for an additional one-way fee, you can return the car to a different office. If the vehicle is picked up in one city and returned in another, the pre-determined one-way fee set by Garenta will apply. Can Customers With An H-Class Disability Driver’s License Rent A Car?
Since only specially equipped vehicles with disability plates can be used with an H-Class driver’s license, it is legally not possible to rent or drive our vehicles with this type of license.
Do You Charge an Additional Fee for Winter Tires in Car Rentals?
Yes, since our rental vehicles are in the passenger car category, winter tires are not mandatory. However, for your safety, we offer winter tire service as an additional product.
What Happens If I Return The Car with Less Fuel Than I Received?
If the car is returned with less fuel, the fuel cost plus a 40% service fee will be charged.
Can my Chip-Enabled ID Card be Used Instead of a Driver’s License?
For all rental transactions, you must present an appropriate driver’s license along with your identification documents.
Can I Take My Rental Car Abroad?
No, rental cars cannot be taken outside the country.
Why is a Findeks Credit Check Required?
In order to confirm your reservation and pick up your vehicle, your financial assessment must meet Garenta’s rental criteria.* During the evaluation process, factors such as your total credit limits and outstanding debts from all banks, including credit, credit cards, overdraft accounts, and similar financial products, as well as the open/closed status of your credit accounts and your past payment performance, may be taken into consideration. This assessment can be conducted regardless of your Findeks score. You can complete your financial analysis by visiting the branch where you will rent the vehicle.
What Should I Check When Picking Up My Rental Car?
Our vehicles are delivered in the presence of our delivery representative. The car’s brand, model, mileage, and any existing damages are recorded in a form, which is then signed by both parties and provided as a copy. Please make sure to carefully check these details when picking up your vehicle.
What is Short-Term Rental?
Operations with a rental period of less than 1 year are categorized as short-term rentals. Under short-term rental, you can rent a car for durations ranging from 1 day to 12 months. This provides you with the flexibility to choose between daily or monthly rental options based on your specific requirements.
What Does Daily Rental Include?
The “Garenta Daily Rental” service encompasses rentals ranging from 1 day to 22 days. You have the flexibility to extend your rental period as per your requirements. If your rental need extends to 23 days or more, you have the option to select the “monthly rental” alternative.

The “Garenta Monthly Rental” service encompasses rentals ranging from 23 days to 12 months. When you make a booking or enter into a rental agreement for your selected date range, the entire rental fee is collected upfront at the beginning of the process. You can extend your rental period on dynamic pricing terms to align with your specific requirements. If your rental need extends to 1 year or more, you have the option to select the “long-term rental” alternative.
What is Long-Term Rental?
Operations with a rental period of over 1 year are categorized as long-term rentals. Under long-term rental, you have the option to rent a car for periods ranging from 12 months to 36 months.
What Are the Advantages of Long-Term Rental?
Long-term rental relieves you of operational expenses such as maintenance, repairs, tire replacements, insurance, and car coverage costs. You can use up to TL 37,000 of monthly rental invoices, excluding VAT, as business expenses eligible for a 70% deduction.
Can I Rent a Commercial Vehicle?
You also have the option to select commercial and light commercial vehicles for your long-term rental needs.
Can I Rent a Second-Hand Car?
For your long-term car rentals, you have the choice of selecting either new or second-hand cars.
What is the Procedure for Tracking High-Speed Toll System (HGS)?
In short-term rentals, HGS transactions are monitored by Garenta, and toll fees are collected after the rental period. In long-term rentals, you can either track HGS yourself or request Garenta to handle it for you.

You have the flexibility to rent a car on a daily, monthly, or long-term basis, with contracts that can be issued on behalf of legal entities.
